This kinetic installation transforms the human body into a visceral expression of anxiety and the struggle to regain control. A full-scale 3D-printed ribcage cradles delicate PLA organs, but with each breath—each rhythmic cycle of inflation and deflation—they slip away, swell, and expand beyond their boundaries. The transparent lung, filled with the red Chinese characters "呼吸" (breathe/Exhale and inhale), serves as a fragile yet urgent reminder to find steadiness amid unease. Yet, even this mantra is not immune to pressure—it is squeezed, compressed, and distorted with each exhalation, mirroring the difficulty of holding onto calm in moments of distress. Through movement, material tension, and the physicality of breath, this installation embodies the overwhelming yet cyclical nature of anxiety—an experience of both rupture and resilience.
