This project explores autopoiesis through the self-sustaining growth of crystals on LEDs and textiles. By localizing an open-source crystallization recipe, we integrate recycled materials, fabric textures, and 3D spatial forms to influence and enhance the crystallization process. The interplay of light and structure reveals the intricate beauty of self-organizing materials, creating a dynamic fusion of science, art, and sustainability.
